Jerry Wayne Hedges

On July 29, 2024, the Hedges family lost their hero surrounded by his loving family at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Jerry Wayne Hedges was reunited with his High School sweetheart and love of his life Carolyn Hope Hedges who passed away January 27th, 2011, from a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Jerry Hedges was born January 27th, 1950, and grew up in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He had a passion for Corvettes and loved to watch Barrett-Jackson and Meecum Auto Auctions on TV. Corvettes became a bond that he shared with his sons and grandchildren growing up. He loved the beach with his family, Cigars, and Chinese Food. He loved all decades of music and could sing every song on the radio while traveling for work at Ideal Chemical.

He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who will miss him dearly. His spirit will live on in the Rev of every Corvette engine.

Jerry is survived by his two sons, Jeff Hedges of Los Angeles, CA and Jeremy Hedges of Cave Springs, AR, and seven grandchildren, Dillon, Brandon, Paige, Hannah, Hailey and Talan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Hedges and his Son Jason Hedges.

We thank you Lord for Jerry who abides now with his wife, Carolyn, son, Jason, and You In Heaven. Though we miss them we celebrate their presence with You. How great is your love and plans now for Jerry to spend eternal life with You and his loved ones he missed so dearly. Please tell them we love them. We thank you for bearing the family and friends’ griefs and sorrows with each sigh and cry. You are the one who will console and sustain them and provide life everlasting. We praise you for your watch and care over them. We hope God has your favorite cigar waiting for you in Heaven. You are forever loved and remembered!
