Comments:

Married to John (architect) for 35 years. Still working 3 days a week in a school. My 3 gorgeous daughters are my most treasured achievement. My husband and I have traveled extensively - we lived in Budapest in Hungary for nearly 4 years from 2001 to 2004. In approx 2003 I met up with MaryAnn Quinn in Ireland for about 1/2 hour. Much too short. In December 2009 I managed to meet up with Linda (Smith) Engel in New York and we had a wonderful weekend together. My husband and I have downsized from the large 4 bedroom home in the suburbs of Sydney to a 2 bedroom apartment right under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It does not seem possible that over 40 years have passed since my days in Siloam Springs as an exchange student. I can still clearly remember the snow storm, the car yard awning collapsing under the snow and this being the most "exciting thing to hit Siloam since Bowzer Bearden got drunk and threw all the park benches in Seager Creek". That story has been told at many a dinner party. Well done Reunion Committee for keeping in touch.

School Story:

Exchange student from Sydney Australia. The physic teacher (I forget his name but it could have been something like Mr Romis) used to tease me mercilessly about my accent. Mrs Roth teaching spelling which I thought was hilarious for final year of high school. Spelling was only taught in grade school in Australia. I was amazed that smoking was allowed on the school premises. Loved watching the football games.
